Hard Candy 2013 Swatches

So this is surely not all the new colors from Hard Candy (you can see all the 45 colors in my post with the press release info here), but ones I have picked up...thus far. :P I tried to get this post up as quickly as I could because I had a lot of people asking to see them on the nail, sorry if it's a bit late! ♥ I must say though, Bitty Blue and Little Bo Pink look so much better on the nail than they did in the nail wheel swatches I posted to Facebook. ;)
Warning: Tons of photos ahead!

Bitty Blue is a ocean blue duochrome with a purple flash. All nails are 3 coats with no top coat.
First off the name of this just makes me think of "old bitty", which amuses me greatly! :P Ok so now that that's out of the way, on to the formula! Dry time was pretty average but not terribly long, consistency was great  and it was nice and shiny with no top coat. If you do thicker coats you could probably get away with 2 coats instead of 3 like me. Overall, not too shabby for $4! ;)  The color is amazing and I think a must have from the new Hard Candy Colors. The duochrome isn't as strong on the nail versus the bottle, but most duochromes are and I am happy with just the amazing blue color it's self!
Party Central has a clear base with various sizes of blue, black, purple, green, white, tan, orange and silver hex glitter. I used coats over 3 coats of Little Bo Pink with a top coat of Seche Vite.
This is a great glitter mix! All the colors go together nicely, even the small bits of green that otherwise I wouldn't think would work. Formula was great again! A perfect consistency, average dry time and was only slightly gritty before a top coat.
Little Bo Pink is a bright pink with orange glass fleck. All nails are 3 coats with no top coat.
My camera did not want to capture this color. >_< The orange shimmer it gives off is there and noticeable in real life, but my camera was just being a brat. Again another beautiful, well worth $4 color! Formula of Little Bo Pink was the same as Bitty Blue and again may have been a 2 coater had I been thicker with coats.
Peach Pop has a milky peach/orange base with pink, orange and silver glitters. I used 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
This color does not work well with my skin tone, personally :( But it is pretty nonetheless! Any lovely ladies with darker complexions would make this color look a hundred times more amazing than I do! Formula was a thinner, but workable, had a super fast dry time and was just slightly bumpy with no top coat, so I opted for one.
So So Sequins is made up of small light pink holographic glitters, so many it uses them as the "base", and bright blue medium sized hex glitter. Except for my pinky nail, all nails are 2 coats. My pinky nail is one coat and all nails have a top coat of Seche Vite.
WOW this polish super sparkly! If you are looking to be the belle at a disco, pick this color up! ;) Formula was very thick and I should have added a bit of thinner to it, I just haven't yet. I was able to make it work it's in thick state so it wasn't too awful, but still pretty thick. It had a longer dry time, most likely due to the formula thickness and all the glitter, and will need a top coat because it's gritty without one, again pretty normal with glitter bombs like this. Overall though it's worth it for these sparkly nails! :P
Sweet Tooth has a milky white base with white, pink and blue glitters. I used 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
Formula was exactly the same as Peach Pop, so I don't feel the need to repeat it again. ;) The color does look a lot like Nails Inc Sweets Way, but I don't own the Nails Inc to compare. Regardless I love it! :D
I picked up some colors for a friend and thought I would show off bottle shots and close ups as them as well. ;)
Jelly Bean Blue, Crush On Caribbean, Gummy Green and Little Hottie
Sugar Rush, Cocoa Smore and Pixie Pink

The new Hard Candy collection will be in Walmart stores very soon, if it isn't at your store already. If you are interested in any of the older colors Hard Candy made I would suggest picking them up NOW because most are being discontinued (including Matte-ly in Love *cries*). Find Hard Candy on Facebook here (see this album for all the new products and colors) and Twitter here.
