Initial Lacquer Reviews & Swatches

Hi everyone! I have a few new polishes from Initial Lacquer to share with you today! Two of these polishes, Candy Pool! and Rainbow Sands, were addition to the A Something in a Summer's Day collection, I posted about previously. :)

Candy Pool! has a crelly orange base with bright blue bars, pink dots, neon green squares and neon orange, blue and pink hexes. All nails are 2 coats with top coat.
While the color of this polish may not work well with my skin tone, I love this polish! The orange crelly base is really unique and I still am in love with the short, bright blue bar glitters. ;) Formula was easy to work with and I had no problem getting out any of the glitters.
Haro Blue is a dusty blue with scattered holo and micro blue flakes. For these photos I used 2 coats with no top coat.
My camera wasn't able to capture the holo or blue flash Haro gave off. :/ I think the close up picture below shows off both the blue and holo, though! :) It's a beautiful color and the formula was perfection! It also dried nice and shiny with no top coat needed!
Rainbow Sands is composed of mainly matte pink glitter and accented by blue, yellow and white matte glitter in a clear base. Here I layered 1 coat over 2 coats of Haro Blue with top coat.
This polish is a super fun! I haven't seen the micro, white matte glitters in any other matte glitter mix yet, so that's exciting! :) Formula was again great!
Skydance is a deep blue with micro blue and purple flakes, micro holographic hexes and holographic pigment. All nails are 2 coats with no top coat.
Another awesome blue from Initial Lacquer! The flash this polish gives off is just gorgeous! It does dry semi-matte, but I didn't feel the need to top coat it. ;) Otherwise, formula was awesome!
Standing on the Moon contains a mixture of silver and blue holographic glitters, including silver circle glitter, in a clear base. All nails are 1 coat of Standing on the Moon over 2 coats of Love Voyage with top coat.
I don't think I ever will fall out of love with the holographic blue glitters seen in a lot of Initial Lacquer's polishes! And this polish is no different! ;) I think the name is perfect because the silver dots reminded me of little full moons right away. Again no trouble with formula and I had no trouble getting out any of the dots.

A few of these polishes are available now through Initial Lacquer's on Etsy! Make sure to follow Initial Lacquer on Facebook and Tumblr to stay updated on new colors coming out and restock information.
