Silly Bee's Chickadees The Gift of Melly Collection Reviews & Swatches

Woo-hoo! I'm super excited to share the newest Silly Bee's Collection! There are so many great things about this collection, where to start?! First the entire collection was a collaboration between 5 bloggers (including myself). We each chose scenes from our favorite Christmas move to inspire Melissa, the creator of Silly Bee's. Also, we each chose our favorite charity to have 20% of the sales donated to. Just to round it off, it's a holiday collection so what's not to love about that! ;)
P.S. I added the adorable images Melissa posted on Facebook below each polish that are about each polish and the bloggers who inspired them. You can click on my images to enlarge them or check out the album of them on the Silly Bee's Facebook page

Diana's Nippley Holiday is a light blue crelly with white and green hexes, red dots and hot pink "hibiscus" for a "bright Hawaiian Christmas Day". It also has added a gold shimmer, which each polish has to tie them all together to be the perfect gift for the season! Shown is 3 coats with top coat.
I love how this polish isn't a normal "holiday" polish, so you can wear it year round! ;) And have fun telling people the name of it! :P Formula was a little tricky with this polish and I did need to thin it to make it workable, but Melissa let me know she has since fixed any problems with it. :)
Dulcie's (that's me!) Fairy Slap has a clear base with with pink holo dots, white and silver micro glitter and silver stars and . All nails are 3 coats of Silly Bee's Crema with 2 coats of Dulcie's Fairy Slap.
"Sometimes you have to just SLAP them in the face, to get their attention." I think that quote will forever ring true on so many levels! Haha When I was younger I loved Scrooged! I think my parents can attest to me watching it over and over again and I still do any chance I see it come on TV! ;) Melissa captured the scene I chose perfectly, I mean how awesome are those pink dots to represent the bubbles! :D Formula was again on the thick side, but a little thinner did the trick! :)
Emily's Wonderful Life contains green and red squares, silver dots and green, red and silver bar glitters in a light gray crelly base. Here is 3 coats with top coat.
I know everyone had at least one person in their family who covered their trees in tinsel, right? That's exactly what this polis reminds me of; tinsel everywhere! I love the vintage vibe it has, even the gray crelly base it has really helps add to that too. :) Formula was problem free and as you can see tinsel everywhere, so need to fish for any of it! ;)
Mishka's Major Award is a mixture of gold stars, black bar glitter and hot pink hexes in a cream crelly base. All nails are 3 coats with top coat.
I think if you have never seen A Christmas Story you may not be human! :P The leg lamp may not fit everyone's decor, but I think this polish belongs on everyone's nails. ;) The combination is really unique, yet it all just goes together and works! Also there is no need to be fra-jee-lay with this polish, the formula was perfect! :)
Steph's Toy Chest has a clear base loaded with gold shimmer and an assortment of green, gold, lavender and red circle glitters. These photos are 2 coats layered over 2 coats of Silly Bee's Velvet Violet.
Oh how I wish I could decorate my house like the scene Steph chose to inspire this polish! But I have cats and a toddler, so I would imagine it would last all of 2 seconds before it got destroyed! :P Instead I'll stick to the gorgeous polish! Formula was perfect and you can layer it over tons of different colors for Christmas cheer all year!
All these great polishes are available now in Silly Bee's Chickadees Etsy store! You can also purchase the entire set and get some added goodies, while supporting 5 great causes! Make sure to follow Silly Bee's Chickadees on Facebook and Instagram and follow her blog!
