Wet n Wild Color Wave Blue Set

Afternoon! I hope everyone had a great weekend! :) I was rather lazy and didn't get many swatches done, so I have to play catch up today. I recently found this set at Walgreens after seeing it on Nouveau Cheap. I was surprised my store had it out so early! One thing I will mention if you are looking for it is make sure to check a few different stores. I have 3 Walgreens around me and only one had it out. I'm not sure if only certain stores got them in or just the other stores are hiding them in the back. :P

First up we have a basic white creme. This is 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
Nothing super special here, just your basic white. Formula was nothing special either. It took 3 thicker coats and a top coat to be even and streak free.
This is the second polish; a nice light turquoise creme. I used 2 coats with no top coat.
I probably have a few colors that are dupes or very similar to this color, so it's nothing overly exciting but is pretty nonetheless. :)
The third polish is a green-blue semi matte. All nails are 2 coats with no top coat.
Love this color! It's a gorgeous color and I think if nothing else this color alone is worth the $3.99!
Up next is a blue-green duochrome. I used 3 coats with no top coat.
This polish is a beautiful! :) Up close you can see it wasn't completely smooth, but I didn't notice that in person.
The fifth polish is a blue jelly with blue iridescent glitter. With the exception of my pinky, I used 2 coats over the white from this set and no top coat. My pinky nails is 3 coats over bare nail and no top coat.
This polish has plenty of dupes on the market, but I always love seeing them. :) I was also happy because I was making a franken with the Wet n Wild Fergie color Mermaid Curves and needed more of it, so this bottle was scarified to complete it :P Mermaid Curves is a bit darker, but I was just after the iridescent glitter so I didn't mind. ;)
Last but not least a dark blue packed with teal shimmer. All nails are 2 coats with no top coat.
This polish is tad lighter, less shimmery version of Hard Candy Crush On Caribbean, so if you have one you don't really need the other. This polish is a stainer, so make sure to double up on base coats and be careful with clean up! You can see it left it's mark on my with the little clean up I had to do. >_<

I didn't have a chance to do anything fun with this set, i.e., I was lazy this weekend. ;) I do think for $3.99 this set is a steal! And if nothing else the green polish in this set is for that alone. ;) The set also comes in a pink set which you can see on Nouveau Cheap

If you haven't already spotted this set at Walgreens you should see it soon! Find Wet n Wild on Facebook and on Twitter.
