Random Swatch Spam

A later post than normal because my internet has been out for most the day. >_< Me and technology will just never be friends I swear! I have some random manis I've been meaning to post that I just never gotten around to post, until now. :) Most of them I did here and there, so I apologize if my nails look longer and shorter between pictures. :P

Girly Bits Cu Blue is a deep indigo jelly with copper shimmer. All nails are 3 coats with no top coat.
Find Girly Bits polish through her BigCartel storefront. Make sure to follow Girly Bits on FacebookInstagramPinterest and Twitter.
Hoof Glow Savannah Sunset contains a mixture of various shapes and shades of gold, copper and purple glitters in a clear base. Here is 1 coat over Zoya Bobbi with top coat
Hoof Glow Waterhole has a shimmery blue base with various shapes and shades of blue glitters. For this photos I layered 1 coat over Elevation Polish Ulura with top coat.
Hoof Glow Welcome to the Jungle contains a mixture of green glitters along with a splash of red, yellow, purple and blue glitters in various shapes and sizes. All nails are 1 coat over Above The Curve What No Buy?!?! with top coat
Unfortunately, Hoof Glow was created for a friend by a maker who is choosing to remain anonymous and will not be for resale. Luckily you can win a bottle of Waterhole (and some other awesome things!) from a giveaway AtlCatsMeow is running right now! It ends tonight so hurry! ;)
Don't be confused you have seen both these polishes on my blog before (and the manicure below this) ;) This is 2 coats of Silly Bee's Chickadees Diamond Deb layered over 3 coats of Crema with top coat.
Here again is another Silly Bee's Chickadees fun manicure. I again used 3 coats of Crema and topped it with 2 coats of Melly's Mix
Melissa, the creator of Silly Bee's Chickadees, is visiting a convention soon and wanted to show off both these polish together and asked me for photos. I thought I would share them because they really are awesome combos! Due to the convention Silly Bee's Chickadees Etsy shop is currently closed till July 1st. Be sure to follow her for a reminder when the shop reopens on Facebook (I also know there are some new colors coming soon ;) and follow her blog
Smitten Polish Traveling By Bubble is pink and blue circle glitter, along with a bit of small pink and blue hex glitter, in a milky blue base with a touch of blue shimmer. All nails are 3 coats with top coat.

Smitten Polish Hocus Pocus & Naiad

I meant to have this post up yesterday as a second post for the day, except a migraine got the best of me >_< Luckily, I am feeling much better and hopefully will have a second post up today. Really I make no promises though! :P

Hocus Pocus is a mixture of fine fuchsia holographic glitter in a bright purple jelly base. All nails are 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.

Clearly this polish is full of magic! ;) Glittery and amazing magic! Seriously there is nothing not to love about this polish and even though I think it would look great as a base color for another polish I'm not sure if I would want to cover it up. :P

Naiad is described as a medium aqua "crelly" base with purple shimmer. This is the lighter cousin of Sprites of Spring.  I used 3 coats with a top coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri.
Eeeep! I love this polish just as much I love Sprites of Spring! Sprites of Spring is darker than Naiad, so if you are looking to purchase one or the other, that's up to you. I feel justified owning both! ;) The shimmer is strong even in low light and formula is great! I did want to add that Noelie, the creator of Smitten Polish, did note on her Facebook page that both Sprites of Spring and Copper Canyon(Naiad has less of the staining pigment than Sprites of Spring does) can stain you nails. I personally didn't have a problem with any of them, but I did double up on a base coat just to be on the safe side. In case this is a problem with you Noelie offered to refund anyone that had a problem. :) Yay for awesome customer service!!

Smitten Polish can be found on Etsy. I don't see either one of these polishes stocked at this time, so make sure to follow Smitten Polish on Facebook and sign up for her newsletter for updates!

Smitten Polish Copper Canyon, Nerds Redux, Pink Goes Good With Green and Sprites of Spring Reviews & Swatches

Sorry for the late post >_< I used a little bit different camera settings with these photos than normal. I'm trying to slowly, but surely convert over to my new camera. I just haven't got there yet or have time to sit down and fiddle with settings. :P Alright enough blabbing from me because you need to see these beautiful polishes from Smitten Polish!

Copper Canyon has a green-tealish jelly base with copper shimmer and medium and smaller sized copper and rose color hex glitter. All nails are 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
Being a newer green lover, I didn't think I would love this color as much as I do! :P The copper shimmer and uniquer base color work so well together, it's insane. Then throw in more copper and rose colored glitter and my mind just explodes! Hahah Formula was great like all my Smitten Polishes have been: quick dry time, no fishing required and with Copper Canyon it dried pretty smooth with no top coat. :)
Nerds Redux is a reformulation of an older shade Smitten Polish used to make called Nerds! It has fuchsia hex glitter and light blue holo hex glitter in a purple creme base. I used 3 coats with a top coat of Gelous and Seche Vite.
I was thrilled to see Noelie, the maker of Smitten Polish, bring back a polish similar to the original Nerds!. I never got a chance to snag Nerds! before it was discontinued, so I can't compare the two but I love this one and it shall fill the void. ;) The purple base and glitter combination make me want to got buy a box of Nerds candy and shove the whole thing in my mouth and then inevitably choke on at least one piece because that's what always happens when you eat Nerds, right? :P Formula was again awesome with one small downfall; it is a top coat eater. With 1 coat of both Gelous (applause all around I finally bought a bottle) and Seche Vite my nails were not super smooth to the touch, but bearable. It may help to double up on a top coat for Nerds Redux or you could just do what I did and use the thought that's it's similar to gluing sparkly Nerds Candy to your nails, so you can cope. ;)
Pink Goes Good With Green has a various sizes of pink, green and purple glitter in a milky green base. All nails are 3 coats with a top coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri.
When I put this on, I'm pretty sure my face looked like the Surprised Chin meme "Pink really does go good with green!" *mind blown* The colored base does a perfect job of not overpowering the other glitters and well, I think the first part of this paragraph sums up my thoughts on it. ;) Formula was another winner, with no problems to report!
Sprites of Spring is a deep teal "crelly" with pink/purple shimmer. I used 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
If you are in the market for a deeper, more flashy Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily this is it! And Noelie is even releasing a lighter version soon! *swoon* The shimmer in Sprites of Spring is very strong and even in low light you can notice it pretty well. Once again great formula, but it does have a bit of matte-ish finish when dry. If you want a higher shine one coat of top coat will do the trick! :)

Smitten Polish can be found on etsy here.  Except for Pink Goes Good With Green, all of these colors are currently in stock! Make sure to like Smitten Polish on Facebook here and sign up for her newsletter here, to stay current on new colors being released and stock updates.

Smitten Polish ERMAHGERD, CANDY CORMS + Halloween Manicure

Honestly, I haven't had time to brush up on my nail art skills since things around my house have been a little crazy. :P For my Halloween manicure I still wanted to do something fun though! I also wanted to swatch this because a friend is soon to be having her son and I thought she would love to see this a few days before he makes his appearance into the world. So this is not only my Halloween manicure, it's for Cami and soon to be Kieran! :)

Smitten Polish ERMAHGERD, CANDY CORMS is small and large yellow and orange glitter suspended in a milky white base.
All fingers are 3 coats with no base coat and a top coat of Hong Kong Girl Top Coat.
What is not to love about this polish! The name is first and fore most amazing and the color is great because it doesn't give off a "in your face" Halloween color so it can worn any time. :) I added some nail decals from Cina Pro to make it a little more "Halloweenish".

Smitten Polish can be found on etsy hereERMAHGERD, CANDY CORMS is in stock! For any international readers, Smitten Polish can be found through Shoppe Eclecticco here. Make sure to like Smitten Polish on Facebook here.

Cina Pro products can be purchased online at Sally Beauty Supply here and in store. They are also sold in Cosmoprof store.

Smitten Polish You're Turning Violet, Violet

I'm so excited to put Smitten Polish You're Turning Violet, Violet on my nails! Since my birthday is tomorrow, I hunted for something super amazing to wear. This little beauty arrived in my mailbox right on time!

Smitten Polish You're Turning Violet, Violet has a violet base with royal blue holographic glitters and smaller holographic glitters. All of the glitters are circle glitters! I know besides myself, there are a ton of other lacquer heads who love this. ;) In short, it's one of the most gorgeous polishes I own!
All fingers are 3 coats of You're Turning Violet, Violet over Seche Rebuild and under Hong Kong Girl Top Coat. I could have gotten away with 2 coats easily but I liked the darker color obtained with 3 coats.
I don't even know where to begin writing about my love for this polish. I love that it's apart of Smitten Polish's Confection Collection based off of "Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory". This was one of my favorite movies as a child and I refused to ever see the newer version of the movie because I knew it just could not live up to the original. I did eventually see the newer version when it came on cable this year and hated it. Also, I love that this is a creation from Smitten Polish which, I have written about the formula before being great and quick drying. And of course the color is nothing short of amazing!
Blurred to show the holographic glitter. ;)
Of course today is overcast and sun only came out for a few minutes. :( I think my light box did a pretty good job on capturing the color though. Noelie, the creator of Smitten Polish, posted videos on the Smitten Polish Facebook (link will be below) of this color because it's the only way to show off all the sparkles.
Ok this is the last picture I swear!

Smitten Polish can be purchased through etsy here. She currently only has nothing stock though. :( I was able to purchase this from a pre order that was listed on Smitten Polish's Facebook so make sure to like it here to keep updated! Also, you can find Noelie's blog here.
