Rainbow Honey Fancy Set

So this post is super late/early >_< I picked this set up a few weeks ago when TheFancy.com had a $20 off code. I was able to get this set for $4.95 shipped and it's worth way more than that!

Fancy Black is described as a metallic silver shimmer floating in a deep, black creme. All nails are 2 coats with no top coat.
This polish was almost a one coat, which always says a lot for me. ;) Fancy Black is a nice take on a basic black with just a little bit of kick. Formula was perfect and, as you can see, all the shimmer applied nice and evenly.
Fancy Red is a bright red jelly. Except for my middle nail, I used 2 coats with no top coat. On my middle nail I layered 1 coat of Fancy Red over 2 coats of Fancy Black.
My pictures didn't capture how pretty layer Fancy Red over Fancy Black turned out. :( Nevertheless, Fancy Red alone is a really nice bright red jelly. At 2 coats it didn't show a lot of visible nail line, if that bothers you. I can't get enough of jellies lately and don't have any this red and bright, so it works perfectly into my collection. :)
This set also came with a Sakura Matsuri Cuticle Balm. It has a nice flower scent that isn't too overpowering. It also is very easy to use and I found it glides on nicely without breaking apart.

This set is available exclusively on TheFancy.com for $20 (with $4.95 shipping). You can find other Rainbow Honey polish colors through their online store. Make sure to follow Rainbow Honey on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Sephora X Ice Princess vs. Rainbow Honey A Little Kindness vs Jindie Nails Pretty Penny

Hi everyone! :) Today I decided to a quick comparison post with a few polish I have in my collection that were some what similar to each other. I don't own A England She Walks In Beauty, so I couldn't add that to the comparison. I think from the photos I have seen Sephora X Ice Princess and A England She Walks In Beauty would be pretty close, if not 100%, dupes for each other though.

Sephora X Ice Princess has a base of micro green-gold glitter and medium and larger rose colored hex glitters.
Rainbow Honey A Little Kindness is described as a rose, white, gold, and soft green glitters that float in a delicate and sheer yellow base with an iridescent pink shimmer. I previously posted about this polish here.
Jindie Nails Pretty Penny is pink and gold round glitters with wine, bronze and gold glitter and gold shimmer. My previous post about Pretty Penny can be found here.
My index and pinky nails are 3 coats of  Ice Princess, my middle nail 3 coats of A Little Kindness and my ring nail is 3 coats of Pretty Penny. All have a top coat of Seche Vite.
Ice Princess clearly is the odd man out in compared to A Little Kindness and Pretty Penny. A Little Kindness and Pretty Penny are close to each other but not 100% dupes. The shimmer in Pretty Penny is lighter and it has a difference of glitter colors and shapes than A Little Kindness. I would say if you have either A Little Kindness or Pretty Penny you wouldn't need the other, unless the difference in glitter is important to you.
1 coat of each polish in the same order listed as above over Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris and a top coat of Seche Vite.

Sephora X can be purchased online through Sephora here and can be found in stores at select Sephoras carrying the "X" line.  Find Sephora on Facebook here and Twitter here.

Guest Blogger: Sassy Paints with OPI Care To Danse? + Rainbow Honey Sakura Matsuri (Namesake)

Today I have another great guest blogger making an appearance! In this post, I have the lovely blogger from SassyPaints, Gini, with a "jelly sandwich".

Take it away, Gini!

Hello ladies, I'm Gini from SassyPaints! I'm so excited to be posting here at ohthreeohfour! I thought long and hard about what I wanted to do for my guest post so I hope you like what I've come up with for you. I decided on a simple but very pretty Jelly Sandwich.
I started this mani with 3 coats of OPI Care To Danse?, a pale lilac jelly that looks quite purple in the bottle but appears a tad more pink once applied. Application was very smooth and fairly even, especially for my very bumpy, ridgy nails (Yes, I just made that up. Lol)
Please excuse the yellow stains that are still visible, the downfall of a pale jelly.
I could have gone with another coat if I wasn't planning on layering this look.

Next I added 1 coat of Rainbow Honey Sakura Matsuri (Namesake). This polish is full of large pink and white flower shaped glitter and holographic/iridescent glitters in various shapes, sizes and colors.
Application with this was less than perfect. The flower glitter was next to impossible to get out of the bottle. I had to fish quite a bit just to get out the few that I did. I'm thinking this problem is a design flaw in the mini bottle/brush and probably not the polish itself. The regular size bottle of A Little Kindness had no problems with application, the mini just seems like it doesn't reach far enough into the bottle.
Then I applied 2 more coats of Care To Danse? and topped it off with a coat of SV

That's my Jelly Sandwich, I hope you guys like it!
Thanks for reading!

Thank you so much Gini! You can find her blog, SassyPaints here and like her on Facebook here. Gini does spectacular nail art, I'm definitely jealous of her skills, so check her out!

Hard Candy Fabuluxe + Rainbow Honey The Element of Magic

The other night my son watching his favorite show on Netflix, "Thomas & Friends", when it ended I went back to the main Netflix page and it recommended "My Little Pony". Out of of no where he started screaming "Watch Ponies!" Neither him nor I have ever watched "My Little Pony", so where he even got "ponies" from is beyond me! :P I was just finishing up putting Hard Candy Fabuluxe on my nails and figured it was a sign I should add a Rainbow Honey color to it. ;)
I thought that The Element of Magic would go perfect on top, so that's where my inspiration for today's swatches came from.

Hard Candy Fabuluxe has a magenta jelly base and is packed with fuchsia glitter.
All nails are 2 coats over Nail Envy with no top coat. I probably could have gotten away with 1 thick coat but I like doing thinner coats since they dry quicker and I'm impatient. :P
I adore this color. It's cheap, easy to apply and is insanely vibrate. What's not to love!
Rainbow Honey The Element of Magic is described as several shades of purple and pink glitter, some holographic, some iridescent, and a sprinkling of fairy dust all in a shimmery purple base with a magical blue shift.
All fingers are 1 coat of The Element of Magic over the above mentioned and no top coat.
So this is yet another RH manicure that just couldn't be shown off correctly in my light box. I think I was able to capture the "glow" it gives off perfectly outside.

Hard Candy is exclusively sold at Walmart. As far as I know Fabuluxe is apart of the core collection of polishes. You can find Hard Candy on Facebook here.

Wet n Wild The Gold & The Beautiful + Rainbow Honey A Little Kindness

I meant to get this up much earlier but, I was trying to figure out the problem with my GFC Follow Widget not appearing. Luckily, I think I figured it out! So here is Wet n Wild The Gold & The Beautiful with Rainbow Honey A Little Kindness.
I know my bottle of the The Gold & The Beautiful looks a little disappointing next to the Rainbow Honey. :P But I have yet to use up a mini yet and have gotten about 3 manicures out of this bottle and probably could get 1-2 more!

Wet n Wild The Gold & The Beautiful is a sheer gold glitter.
All fingers are 3 coats of Wet n Wild The Gold & The Beautiful over OPI Nail Envy Matte.
I don't wear any gold jewelry but I love gold nails, go figure. :P I like the color and formula of The Gold & The Beautiful and even though it does seem to take a lot of coats to get opqaue I don't mind.
Rainbow Honey A Little Kindness is described as a rose, white, gold, and soft green glitters that float in a delicate and sheer yellow base with an iridescent pink shimmer.
All fingers are 2 coats of A Little Kindness under Wet n Wild The Gold & The Beautiful and with a top coat of Hong Kong Girl topcoat.
This looked so much better outside than it inside. Unfortunately, when I went to go outside to take pictures the sun decided to hide after being out all day. :( I don't think the pictures do justice to how "blingy" this was but they look so much better than my light box pictures.

Rainbow Honey polishes can be purchased through their online store here. You can also like Rainbow Honey on Facebook here.

Wet n Wild The Gold & The Beautiful can be found at most mass retailers and is a part of their Fast Dry Collection. You can like Wet n Wild on Facebook here. I picked up my mini in a set with 7 other Wet n Wild Fast Dry polishes at CVS last year during their Black Friday deals.

Just a reminder, two more days left to enter my giveaway! It will end August 2nd at 12:01 AM EST. If you haven't already, you can enter here!

Rainbow Honey Hoof Wrassle

To continue on from yesterday's post, I decided to top my Sinful Colors Citrine and Sephora + Pantone Tangerine Tango with Rainbow Honey Hoof Wrassle. I figured I already had orange on my nails so it would make a perfect base for this color. ;)

Rainbow Honey Hoof Wrassle is described as a shimmery copper orange base studded with gold, copper, and orange hex and square glitter, and a sprinkling of iridescent and holographic glitters.
All fingers are 2 coats of Hoof Wrassle over Tangerine Tango matte and creme, on my index and ring finger, and Sinful Colors Citrine, on my middle and pinky finger. All have a top coat of Seche Vite.
Alas, Hoof Wrassle just isn't for me. Like I mentioned in my post with Citrine and Tangerine Tango, I'm not a huge orange fan. I think if anything, I prefer orange cremes and glitter bombs. :P I think that Hoof Wrassle just doesn't have enough glitter in it for me to love!

Rainbow Honey Celestia + The Worst Possible Thing

While I was never a fan of My Little Pony when I was younger, I love the collection Rainbow Honey created using them as their inspiration!

So first things first, how cute is the packaging! I'm a sucker for cute packaging so not only are the colors great the packages look super awesome too.
Celestia is a sheer, sky blue polish filled with bursts multichromatic shimmer and opalescent flakes.
All fingers are 2 coats of Celestia over 2 coats of Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris. I could have gotten away with 1 coat of Celestia but I wanted a little more "umpf". I used a base coat Seche Rebuild and no top coat.
I love the flakies that peek out among the glitter.
Just to add a little more to this manicure I decided to top Celestia with The Worst Possible Thing.
The Worst Possible Thing is described as a sheer layering polish shimmering with opalescent flakes in purple and blue and a multitude of holographic and iridescent glitters.
All fingers are 2 coats of The Worst Possible Thing over the above mentioned colors with a top coat of Seche Vite.
Basically, theres a little bit of everything in this manicure! :P
Both above pictures are taken in direct sunlight. Even without sun it glows!
