Lynnderella Candy, Baby?, He Called Her Beauty & Venus In Transit

I can't believe it's already Friday! For me this week sure did fly by. Something great about today, besides that it's Friday? Love Lynnderella has started a new giveaway where one winner will receive LEs Mermaid Magic and She Found Herself Lost! Be sure to enter!

Candy, Baby? has a translucent lavender-pink shimmered base with scattered pink and lavender glitters as well as hot pink hearts. All nails are 2 coats over 2 coats of L'Oreal Lilac Coolers and a top coat of Seche Vite.
I didn't mean for the honeycomb action to happen on my index nail, it was just fate! Nifty looking fate at that. ;) If only there was candy out there filled with glitter and looked this delicious. *sigh* licking your nails is just always frowned upon and never tastes good. Alright someone invent glitter candy! :P
He Called Her Beauty is a mixture of satin and neon glitters and few medium-to-large hexagons in a multi shimmer base. I layered 2 coats of He Called Her Beauty over 2 coats of Flower Cosmetics Eye of the Tiger Lily and a top coat of Seche Vite.
If this doesn't scream summer, I don't know what does! Some of the neon translucent glitters didn't show up too well over my base colors, but I'm ok with that since all the other glitters really popped!
Venus In Transit is described as a lot of intense blue-violet glitter with chartreuse and other blue accents. Blue and pink shimmer in a clear base. "She’s the hot girl on the subway rushing home to check her nail mail". For this manicure I started with the green polish from Wet n Wild's Color Wave blue set and added 1 coat of Venus In Transit with a top coat of Seche Vite.
I think we all run home to check our nail mail! ;) Especially if this beauty is included! I love the shimmer in this polish and how the chartreuse glitters really stand out against the blues.

Lynnderella "It Came Without Ribbons", Salad Days & The Glittering Crowd

Sorry for the late post! >_< A nap I took into earlier turned from a 2 hour cat nap into a 12 hour sleep! Oops! :P How about some Lynnderellas to make up for my tardiness. ;)

"It Came Without Ribbons" is a mixture of red and green glitters in various shapes and sizes in a red tinted base. All nails are 3 coats dabbed on with a top coat of Seche Vite.
I know this is a super late posting of a holiday polish >_< Sorry! But it's beautiful nonetheless and to me themed polishes have no "limits". :)
Salad Days is described as Garden variety: tender lettuces, herbs, radishes, tomatoes, rapscallions and carrot chiffonade. A young, bright green with dressing on the side. The expression originated in Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra, when Cleopatra is regretting her youthful dalliances with Julius Caesar and says, “...My salad days... When I was green in judgment, cold in blood...”  Clear base and overall green appearance. Vegetables are good for you. I used 1 coat over 2 coats of Orly La Vida Loca and a top coat of Seche Vite.
A salad, that's sparkly and filled with glitter? Yes please! Ok so maybe not the best idea to eat this polish or a salad filled with glitter. :P
The Glittering Crowd contains over 100 different glitters! I started with 3 coats of Flower Cosmetics I Lavendare You! and added 2 coats of The Glittering Crowd with a top coat of Seche Vite.
I told my self I would "go easy on the glitter", but I find that hard to do! :P The more glitter the better, as always, and it's super easy to do that with this polish! ;)

Silly Bee's Chickadees Bananamelon Thump Cocktail, Bananamelon Thump Smoothie and Mystery Mix Volume II Reviews & Swatches

I hope the weather where everyone else is has been better than it is here! It's cold and rainy making for some icky ice and slick roads. >_< My allergies aren't enjoying the weather either, so it's been a day that just needs to be over with already! :P Pretty polish always makes me feel a bit better though. ;) I have 3 more polishes from Silly Bee's Chickadees today, including the new Mystery Mix!

Silly Bee's Chickadees Bananamelon Thump Cocktail has a clear base with pink and yellow squares and hexes and white hexes to represent marshmallows. I used 3 coats of Flower Cosmetics I Lavendare You! and 1 coat of  Bananamelon Thump Cocktail with a top coat of Seche Vite.
This combo reminds me of spring and Easter time! Which is coming up way too fast! >_< Formula was a bit thick, but workable and I as you can see I did not have a single problem getting out any glitter!
Silly Bee's Chickadees Bananamelon Thump Smoothie is the same glitter mix as it's cocktail counterpart in a white base and minus the white hex marshmallows. All nails are 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
Like it's cocktail version, Bananamelon Thump Smoothie was not short on glitter! It dried quickly, but similar to the other smoothie versions I have reviewed will need a nice top coat to smooth it out to a shiny finish. I know the polish's color are supposed to represent bananas and watermelon, but the colors in a white base remind me of pink lemonade! :P I always become hungry, or thirsty in this matter, when I swatch Silly Bee's polishes! ;)
Like Mystery Mix Volume I (post here), Volume II is a mixture of any "misfit" polishes Melissa has been creating new pretties. Volume II has a white base loaded with green, yellow and white matte glitter in various shapes and sizes. There are also a few random red and blue glitters that show themselves every few nails. ;) I used 3 coats with a top coat of Seche Vite.
Formula was thick and I did need to add some thinner to make it a consistency that I could work with. After that though it was smooth sailing. ;)  The diamond white glitters mixed with the green and yellow glitters remind me of daisies. Even misfit polishes know that spring is soon upon us!
P.S. Fun with my new camera's close up abilities leads to things like this. :P

Find Silly Bee's Chickadees on etsy here. Currently Bananamelon Thump Smoothie isn't in stock, but hopefully will be restocked soon! ;) Follow Silly Bee's Chickadee's on Facebook here and check out her blog here
