Hey guys! Sorry for the hiatus again! It was the weathers fault yet again, but this time not because it was so nice out. It was more I've been watching tornado warnings for here and near friends like a hawk. If there is something I really hate it's tornados. Luckily all my friends are safe, as am I, but I know it's tornado season and this sends me into a stress ball. >_< I hope anyone reading this in areas that had warnings or touchdowns are safe and sound! ♥
I have just a quick post for tonight of 2 polishes I won from a giveaway through Dove Chocolate and Nicole by OPI. I was honestly surprised I won because I only entered once! I always forget to enter things daily and assumed there was no way I had won anything, but surprisingly I had a box of these polishes waiting in my mail box last week! Just goes to show sometime it only takes one entry to win things. :P
Better After Dark is a reddish-brown with red shimmer. All nails are 3 coats with top coat.
I really love this polish because it reminds me root beer. :P The formula was a little sheer at first, but built up nicely. I like the shimmer because it's not too hidden that you can't notice it in normal lighting. :)
Promises in the Dark is a dark brown creme. Shown is 2 coats with top coat.
I'm not a huge fan of this compared to Better After Dark, because it seems a little on the basic side. I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, though. :P It was opaque in 2 easy coats and I know it will make a great base color for some glitters. ;)
