Jindie Nails Purple People Pleaser Review & Swatches

Another amazing creation from Jindie Nails again for today's post. ;) Everyone should know by now, purple is my favorite color so, Purple People Pleaser was next in line for a review and swatch post.

Purple People Please is described as white, black & purple matte glitter and blue and lavender shiny metallic glitter in a clear base with blue shimmer.

Except for my index finger, all fingers are 1 coat of Purple People Pleaser over Wet N Wild French White Creme. My index finger is 3 thin coats of Purple People Pleaser over a base coat of OPI Nail Envy and a top coat of Hong Kong Girl Top Coat, all my other nails have the same base and top coat combo as well. 

Even though I sound like a broken record saying so, this is another great formula of nail polish! Very few polishes will have as much glitter in a single coat as this one does. The only reason I went with 3 coats on my index finger was to try to make it opaque. In 3 coats it's pretty darn opaque.

I did try this color out over China Glaze Ride The Waves originally but, I felt the glitters didn't stand out like I wanted them to. Over white polish though, you can see it in all of it's glory! This color is  gorgeous to say the very least, I love the blue shimmer hidden in the base. I really wanted to take video highlighting the shimmer but, the weather had other plans for me. :(

Jindie Nails Smells Like Green Spirit Review & Swatches

Normally, I try not to post on the weekends so I can spend the whole time with my family. My husband had to work today and I was really eager to try out another polish from Jindie Nails so, I decided to post today. ;) I went with Jindie Nails Smells Like Green Spirit.

 Smells Like Green Spirit is listed as a medium super bright green jelly with purple, blue, lime green and silver holographic glitter.

 All fingers are 3 coats of Smells Like Green Spirit with a top coat of Hong Kong Girl Top Coat and a base coat of Seche Rebuild.

Just like Femme Fire, the formula of Smells Like Green Spirit is amazing! It dried quickly and all the glitter I have on came out without a single problem. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my package from Jindie Nails that not a single bottle had any settling of glitter from shipping! Also, I forgot to mention in my last post another great thing about Jindie Polish is that I didn't have any difficulty with the glitters sticking up or making my nail rough to the touch. I could have gotten away without a top coat but, it's a habit of mine to always apply a top coat. ;)

Normally, I'm not a fan of green polish however, something really intrigued me about this color combination. I'm really happy I went with it! Remember how I said in my last post, Jenn is a creative genius? This is another polish that proves my point. Had I tried to combine green, purple, blue and holographic glitter, I'm sure it would have been a huge mess and not be as pretty as this. :P

Jindie Nails Femme Fire Review & Swatches

I'm super excited to share with everyone one of the polishes I received from Jindie Nails to review today! Jenn, the brain and creative force behind Jindie Nails, is a such a sweetheart and I could not be more pleased with the 6 polishes I received for review. Over the coming day, I will swatch and review the other polishes I got from her but, for today's post  I have Femme Fire.

Jindie Nails Femme Fire is described as a pink cream polish with orange, red and golden yellow satin matte glitters.

I used 3 thin coats of Femme Fire with a base coat of OPI Nail Envy and a top coat of Seche Vite. I could have gotten away with 2 coats had I made my coats a little thicker when applying.

Formula wise, this polish is perfect! It dried quickly and I didn't have to go "fishing" for glitters. I do want to note that on the Etsy listing for Femme Fire Jenn has put a comment about the larger red hex glitters that reads: "The larger red hex are harder to get out. They are meant as an accent only and not intended for every single nail. If you'd like more red hex, please contact me and I will let you know if I have extra and I'll send it in your order or put it in the polish, just let me know." As you can tell by my swatches I wasn't able to get a larger red hex on each finger. Personally, I like the more scattered look and I didn't even have to fish the ones I have on out which, made me happy. I did want to let everyone know reading this about them just in case though. ;)

The color of Femme Fire is gorgeous, it is the perfect mix of pink, red, yellow and orange. None of the colors over power another and combined they make a very feminine but, exciting polish! Seriously, Jenn is a creative genius and it shows not just in this polish but, in all of the ones she makes.

China Glaze Zombie Zest

I figured I would go ahead and finish off posting the China Glaze polishes I received in my birthday gift from Diana aka Polish Monster.

So without further ado, here is China Glaze Zombie Zest!

China Glaze Zombie Zest has a swampy green base with micro gold glass flecks.

All fingers, except my middle finger, are 4 thin coats of Zombie Zest. My middle finger is 2 coats of Orly It's Not Rocket Science. All fingers started with a base coat of OPI Nail Envy and have a top coat of Seche Vite to finish them off. You can find more information about It's Not Rocket Science on my post about it here.

Zombie Zest and It's Not Rocket Science are pretty darn close dupes. It's Not Rocket Science has more glitter to it and becomes opaque quicker. I really love each one equally though. :P I do prefer the formula of Zombie Zest over It's Not Rocket Science though. Orly's always take forever to dry on me. :/

China Glaze Mummy May I

I guess better late than never for today's post. ;) My Mac Book decided it would be a perfect time to have a failing hard drive on me so, I'm posting from the PC which is a little odd for me. :P I'm still getting used to all the different features so bare with me if it takes a little longer for my posts to happen.

Today, I have another great polish given to me by the lovely Diana from Polish Monster. I'm super excited to finally get her belated birthday gift in the mail tomorrow! For today's post it's China Glaze Mummy May I!

China Glaze Mummy May I is described as a vampy, wine colored purple with flecks of hot pink glitter.

All fingers are 3 coats of Mummy May I over OPI Nail Envy and under Seche Vite.

The base on this color is similar to Ick-A-Bod-Y in that the base is a dark purple but builds up to almost black. The glitter is great because it against the dark base it "glows" even in low light but, it is hard to capture this with my camera. Another great lemming that lived up to my dreams!
