Lynnderella 'Twas the Sixth of December + Giveaway!

Something I always remember growing up was celebrating Saint Nicholas Day! If you have never heard of Saint Nicholas Day, you aren't alone. :P You can find more about the holiday on Wikipedia and how it is celebrated all over the world. :) Be sure to check out the bottom of this post, for a chance to win a bottle of this Lynnderella custom!
'Twas the Sixth of December contains red glitters in various shapes and sizes accented with white dots and snowflakes in a silvery shimmery base. Shown is 2 coats over 1 coat of Cult Nails Nevermore.
Sometimes a basic black polish is always good for a base color, but I had a little more meaning behind why I chose black. My favorite pair of shoes are a pair of black boots and 90% I wear black socks, boring I know. How I was brought up celebrating Saint Nicholas Day, was to leave out socks or shoes for him to fill with treats. So for me, black the most fitting base color of 'Twas the Sixth of December! :)
While this polish was a custom, other Lynnderella lacquers can be purchased through Lynnderella.com or internationally through Norway Nails and Glitter Connect. Follow the Lynnderella fan pages on FacebookTwitterInstagramPinterest and Tumblr.

Random Swatch Spam

Hi everyone! I'm trying to keep up posting but as it moves closer to Friday life is getting more and more hectic! >_< Today I decided to round up some random swatches I've had to at least get one post up. :)

Sinful Colors Black Magic contains micro charcoal and small orange glitters. Shown is 3 coats with top coat.
Even though this polish is pretty simple, it's a lot of fun for fall! :) To me it's halloween without too much halloween. :P
Find Sinful Colors in store at Walgreens, Walmart and Target. I have only seen this polish at Walgreens, so if you are on the hunt for it check there. ;) Follow Sinful Colors on Facebook and Twitter.
Linda Johansen Razzle Dazzle is a purple jelly loaded with holographic shards. All nails are 3 coats with top coat.
This was a gift from Wenche, who runs Norway Nails, and I must say I'm a little upset with her over it. Only because it is awesome and I want more! :P I thought this would be similar to Zoya's polishes like this, but it is a lot sparklier! Formula was amazing as well. :)
I couldn't find too much about this brand that I could translate, sorry! I do know you can buy it through Norway Nails though! :)
Pretty Serious Naughty Night Shift Nurse contains red to orange shifting flakies and blue shimmer in a purple to a red shifting base.  These photos show 3 coats with top coat.
Sure what I am about to write is going to make those in the polish world cringe..I'm not a huge fan of this polish. :X It's really unique in it's overall look and contains colors I like, I just don't love it together. :/ I know a lot of other people do, so clearly it's just me :P
Pretty Serious Emma Louise is described as a is a vibrant violet jelly base with golden green glass fleck, purple micro-glitter, and purple and green hex glitter. Shown is 2 coats with top coat.
So, so, so happy I was able to get my hands on this color! I debated buying it forever after seeing Manicure Addict's post and then of course right when I decided to buy it, it went out of stock. >_< Luckily Pretty Serious brought it back and I was able to nab a bottle because I love everything about it! :D
Both of these colors were limited and are currently out of stock. Sorry! :( Find other polishes from Pretty Serious through their online store. Make sure to follow Pretty Serious on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest and YouTube.
Lumina Lacquer Weird Science is a neon green/yellow texture. All nails are 3 coats with no top coat.
While I really love how different this is from any other textures I've seen, I can't really say I'm a huge fan of the formula. :/ It very thick and almost frothy?(if that make sense) It also was patchy during application and took a long time to dry fully. It really is amazing to look at and something new to the texture market, but the formula, ugg. :(
Lumina Lacquer Not Your Grandma's Pearls is a mixture of iridescent glitters, white hexes and white and silver circle glitters. Here I used 1 coat over 2 coats of Zoya Belinda.
This polish is awesome and really like how the circles add a nice pop. All together it reminds me of, well, pearls! :P
Find polishes from Lumina Lacquer through her BigCartel store and internationally through Norway Nails. I'm not sure if either of these colors will be restocked, but make sure to follow Lumina Lacquer on FacebookInstagram and through her newsletter to stay up to date on restocks. :)
Cult Nails I Got Distracted is a black jelly base with heavy holographic and green glitter. Shown is 2 coats with top coat.
Diana from Polish Monster swapped me this when Cult Nails was running a bogo deal a few weeks ago because she wasn't in love with it. Well good thing for me because I love it! Unfortunately this polish is discontinued. :( Make sure to scour blog sales if you are on the hunt for it! :)
Cult Nails Nevermore is a basic black glossy creme. All nails are 1 coat with no top coat.
I know it seems silly to show off something so basic, but guys this is the best black creme of all time! ;) Seriously though it's very shiny and gave complete coverage in just 1 coat. You can't ask for more than that!

Lynnderella Children of the Candy Corn 3, Contessa Zucca Pumpkina, Lucky Numbers, Something Old... & When We Were Little

I'm so behind on Lynnderella swatches! >_< I do apologize as I've been letting the stress from the upcoming move and the insanity my son brings me daily, get in the way of time for posting. I'm devoting all day to posts and editing my photos (which doesn't sound like a lot when all I do is crop and watermark, but I take tons of pictures and have to go through and find my favorites), in hopes to catch up! :)

Children of the Candy Corn 3 contains satin and matte orange, yellow and white in a gold-shimmered clear base. All nails are 2 coats of 3 coat of Linda Johansen Razzle Dazzle.
Waiter! There are 4-legged octopi swimming in my candy corn! Haha :P I'll never see them as anything different, I'm afraid!  I love how Children of the Candy Corn has evolved with each version and this one is no different, even if I do have octopi swimming in my candy corn. ;)
Contessa Zucca Pumpkina has metallic, neon and satin orange glitters accented with iridescent green and neon in clear peridot-shimmered base. These photos show 2 coats over 3 coats of Zoya Seraphina and an accent nail of 2 coats over 2 coats of Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris.
I was afriad when I layered this over Zoya Seraphina my camera wouldn't capture the shimmer and I was right! >_< The two actually worked amazing together in person, but I layered it over black so you could really see all the shimmer Contessa Zucca Pumpkina has to offer! ;) The shimmer over Seraphina did come alive in my close up shots below at least! :)
Lucky Number is described as a shimmering sheer red-pink-gold pink base with different shapes and sizes of red and black glitter. Shown is 2 coats over 2 coats of Zoya Cassedy.
Even though it isn't technically considered a "lucky number" my favorite number is 5. Not sure why, but I've always done things in groups of 5 (yes, yes I know this post has 6 polishes *twitch*) and been "drawn" to that number. There's your random factoid about me for the day. ;)
Something Old... is a mixture of assorted whites accented with pastel yellow, soft pink glitter and gold holographic microglitter in a white-pink- and gold-shimmered clear base. All nails are 2 coats of Something Old... over 1 coat of Cult Nails Nevermore.
I usually try to use something other than basic black to show off polishes for a full mani, though I did have a reason for using it here. Nothing brought out the shimmer quite like black did! :) Seriously look at that amazing shimmer and how it popped over black! Sometimes there is a reason to just back to a basic color like black and I think this polish is one of them. :)
When We Were Little  has assorted small bright and neon glitters in a clear multishimmered base. Here I layered 2 coats of When We Were Little over 2 coats of Zoya Dream.
Lynn never disappoints with multi-glitter neon mixes, am I right?! Sadly, the shimmer in this polish got a little lost using Dream as my base color. :/ You can never go wrong with a fun, Lynnderella multi-glitter mix though, shimmer or not. ;)
