Enchanted Polish Congratulations

Hi everyone! Today my shorties or as I have dubbed them "Nubbin Mcnubbins" make their appearance. ;) I've had a lot of patches on my nails lately and when I had another one break yesterday, I got frustrated and just trimmed them all down. Nails grow out eventually and as hard as I am on my hands, it amazes even me I kept them at their length for such a long time. :P My middle nail still has a patch (I had a break on the side) so it's a little awkwardly shaped for now. So sorry about that! >_<
I have just one polish for today and a lot more pictures than normal to show it off! :P

Congratulations is a holographic duo-chrome that shifts from red to gold. All nails are 2 coats with top coat.
This is one of those polishes that you have to see in real life to appreciate it! It is really a stunner and that's saying a lot from a person who usually steers away from brown and duo-chrome polishes. ;)
Bonus sun shot! I don't do these often because I usually take my pictures late at night when there is no sun. :P

Enchanted Polish can be purchased through EnchantedPolish.com or internationally through Norway Nails. Make sure to follow Enchanted Polish on FacebookTwitterand InstagramA restock is scheduled for this Sunday (6/30) at 11 AM PST on the Enchanted Polish site, so don't forget! ;)

Lynnderella Amulet it Be., Forget You Not, Golden Rules, Lavendear & Nosegay

I'm sorry this post is pretty limited in terms of manicures. My nails were being jerks in the middle of swatching and that led to me filing them down a lot. So expect some nubs for upcoming posts! I didn't think this post had enough "oomph" to call it "Lynnderella Combos", but despite the long title there are are only 3 manicures in it. ;)

Amulet it Be. is described as multi-glitter in a translucent super-shimmer base. All nails are 1 coat over 3 coats of Tea Beauty Pink Rose with top coat.
I love all the multi-glitter polishes Lynn creates! You may think this is similar to The Glittering Crowd or Mixed Feelings, but the shimmery base really sets it apart! Just in case you still have doubt, I included a bottle shot comparison. ;)
Nosegay has a sheer lavender base with scattered bright and lavender purple square and hex glitters and a strong blue-pink shimmer.
Golden Rules is loaded with gold holographic and metallic glitters in various shapes and sizes all in a clear base.
Here I layered 1 coat of Golden Rules over 3 coats of Nosegay with top coat.
Having the super blingy Golden Rules over the subtle Nosegay really is a perfect pairing. :) I think they balance out each other nicely and the colors really work well together.
Forget You Not is made with multi-sized periwinkle hexagons, pink-blue sparks and cornflower-pink shimmer in a sheer blue base.
Lavendear has lavender hex and square glitter in a various sizes.
For this manicure I layered 1 coat of Forget You Not over 2 coats of Lavendear with top coat.
Of course when you combine 2 delicate polishes, you get a delicate combination! ;) Forget You Not did stand out more in person than my photos show, but hopefully you can get the general idea in my pictures. :)

Purchase Lynnderella lacquers through Lynnderella.com or internationally through Norway Nails. Be sure to follow all the Lynnderella fan pages on FacebookTwitterInstagramPinterest and Tumblr!

Random Swatch Spam

A later post than normal because my internet has been out for most the day. >_< Me and technology will just never be friends I swear! I have some random manis I've been meaning to post that I just never gotten around to post, until now. :) Most of them I did here and there, so I apologize if my nails look longer and shorter between pictures. :P

Don't be confused you have seen both these polishes on my blog before (and the manicure below this) ;) This is 2 coats of Silly Bee's Chickadees Diamond Deb layered over 3 coats of Crema with top coat.
Here again is another Silly Bee's Chickadees fun manicure. I again used 3 coats of Crema and topped it with 2 coats of Melly's Mix
Melissa, the creator of Silly Bee's Chickadees, is visiting a convention soon and wanted to show off both these polish together and asked me for photos. I thought I would share them because they really are awesome combos! Due to the convention Silly Bee's Chickadees Etsy shop is currently closed till July 1st. Be sure to follow her for a reminder when the shop reopens on Facebook (I also know there are some new colors coming soon ;) and follow her blog

Above The Curve Polish Addiction Collection Reviews & Swatches

Hi there! I have a new brand on the blog today; Above The Curve! Before I jump into these beautiful and perfectly named polishes, I wanted to tell you a little more about this brand. Angel and Shawn, the forces behind Above The Curve, donate $1 of every bottle sold to the Shriner's Hospital for Children. They do this not only because they are awesome, but also to help raise awareness for scoliosis.; as Angel was diagnosed with it as a child. As of June 16th they have raised $1,287 for Shriner's Hospital!
P.S. My camera was a jerk with these polishes and didn't want to capture any of the holo these polishes brought to the table. :( There is holo in all of them, but yeah my camera is a pain in the butt.

Dusty Huntin' is described as a red holo that leans orange and pink with pink, purple, red and orange shimmer. I used 2 coats and no top coat.
This was almost a 1 one coater for me and the overall formula was perfect; it dried quickly and was a great consistency. Even though my camera didn't capture the holo (it is there I swear!) the color is awesome and the added shimmers add even more to it's beauty! :) All the names in this collection put a smile on my face and while I have tried dusty hunting a few times, I have never had any luck finding anything good. >_<
Husbands Just Don't Understand is a teal-ish/forest green with flecks of green and blue shimmer and scattered holo. All nails are 2 coats and no top coat.
Husband don't understand! Haha Mine does to an extent, he just doesn't know why I need every color even when some are close to each other. I just do ok! :P He likes to see when I get new polishes in and tell me his favorites, this color just happened to be his favorite out of this collection. I assume that's because it's the "manliest" one. :P Formula was again perfect and I love the combination of the blue and green shimmer added to the mix! It helps just give it that extra kick! ;) Also, this one again was almost a one coater for me!
Lemming Have It! has a jelly-like purple/blue base with holo and blue flecks. For my photos I used 2 coats and no top coat.
Oh my gosh you guys, you need this polish! Seriously it's no surprise they put "lemming" in the name because it is a must have! The blue flakes stand out very well against the holo and, well, it's purple so it's of course a "need" in my book. ;) Formula again was problem free and almost a one coater!
What No Buy?!?! is a sparkly gold with fine gold holo hexes and scattered holo. Here I used 4 coats with no top coat.
Do people do "no buys" and live to tell the tale? I usually go on "low buys" because I don't have any will power when it comes to pretty things. :X This polish was the sheerest in the collection, but still easy to work with and dried quickly. You will have really bling-tastic nails when you wear this because the combination of holo pigment and holo glitter! ;)

Find these polishes and tons more through Above The Curve's BigCartel store and on Overall Beauty. Make sure to follow Above The Curve on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. It's amazing polish and for a good cause, what more reason do you need!
